Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. Tamyo has no account and makes no network calls. We never receive your entries. See the Privacy Policy.
Is my data in iCloud?
Tamyo does not sync through iCloud. If you have iPhone backup turned on in your Apple settings, your device backup may include the app's files; that is Apple's feature and under your control.
What does Tamyo do with Apple Health?
It reads steps, workouts, sleep, water and heart data, only after you allow it, to update your character. It writes only the water you log, so Health has it too. You can change this at any time in the Health settings on your iPhone.
How do I delete my data?
Open Tamyo, go to Settings and choose "Delete all data". Deleting the app also removes its data from your device. You can also export your data as a JSON file from Settings first. For the website waitlist, email us from the address you used and we will delete it.
Apple Watch
What does the Watch app do?
It shows your character, today's quests, your streak and XP, lets you add water (+250 or +500 ml), mark a rest day, and quickly log a meal from your recent or favourite foods. There are complications for your watch face.
Something I logged on the Watch is missing on my iPhone.
Open Tamyo on both devices and keep them close for a minute; records sync when the devices can talk to each other. If it still does not appear, write to us.
Subscriptions and refunds
How much is Premium?
$49.99 per year or $9.99 per month in the United States, each with a 7-day free trial. See the Terms.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Tamyo, Cancel Subscription. Do this at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for Tamyo.
I lost Premium after reinstalling.
In Tamyo Settings, choose "Restore purchases" while signed in with the Apple Account that subscribed.
